We spent two  amazing weeks from the beginning of April 2003, our first part of our honeymoon, in south India. We landed in Mumbai (Bombay) where we stayed overnight before travelling across to Chennai (Madras) for a three day cottage retreat on the coast of the  Bay of Bengal.

From Madras we visited Mahanalipuram, Trichy, Tanjore, Madirai, Periyar and finally ended our trip on Fort Kochi in the Kerala state.
